All members are required to be financial with SFNC prior to their names being registered with SDNA. New members must either live or attend school in the Bayside City Council.
Grading may be undertaken during matches in the previous season or grading sessions held prior to announcement of teams.
A selection panel will be formed for each age group to select teams for the SDNA competition. The selection panel will consist of at least three individuals and will include at least one member of the committee and one coach. Every effort will be made to source an “independent” selector to join the panel. This person is deemed “independent” as they will not be a coach of a team in the age group, do not have a daughter in any of the teams or has been in the role of Coaching Coordinator of the age group but not coaching a specific team in the SDNA competition.
Members are generally kept within their age group ie bottom and top age.
All teams need to have a mix of shooters, defenders and mid-court players.
All teams will be announced prior to first game and any player who pulls out of the team will not be refunded their fees.
Teams may change from year to year subject to the discretion of the Coaching Panel.
Any teams entered in the Open Division needs to have a minimum of 9 registered players prior to entering the team.
Priority for court time will be given to those players who regularly attend training.
The team forfeit fee is to be paid by the individual team.
