NetSetGo is Netball Australia's junior skills-based netball program. At St Finbar's the program is available to players in years 2 and 3.
The aim of the program is to teach players basic ball handling and movement skills in a fun environment without the pressure of competition.

Sandringham and District Netball Association Competition
The SDNA competition caters for players in the 11&Under, 13&Under, 15&Under, 17&Under and Open age groups. There are a number of grades in each year level (e.g. A, B, C, D, E).
The competition is conducted at Thomas St Hampton. First year U11 matches (year 4 players) are played on Thursday evenings. Second year U11 matches (year 5) are played on Saturday mornings. The 11&Under matches commence earliest in the day (match times will depend on how many teams are enrolled) and the older age groups follow throughout the day. The final match usually begins about 5pm.
The 2020 season will begin with a round robin grading event for 11&Under in February. The grand final will be held in September.
There is no ladder and finals for those players in the 11&Under age group, and players are rotated into all positions throughout the season to give them a good grounding of the game of netball.
Matches are not generally played during school holidays and long weekends.
Registration for 2020 is now open and will close on 24 November to allow for team selections to be finalised at the start of the season.
SDNA Team training
Team training is held weekly and will commence on Monday afternoons in February at SDNA netball courts at Thomas Street, Hampton. Please refer to the training tab for more details.
There are many ways parents can show their involvement in their children's netball. The families of all SDNA players are asked to be involved in scoring netball matches throughout the season and to attend their team's designated BBQ and Canteen duties. The parents of NetSetGo! players will be rostered onto a Parent Volunteer Roster to supervise trips to the toilet and First Aid during training sessions.
All teams require a parent volunteer as Team Manager. The role of the Team Manager is to create a scoring roster, assign parents to the team's designated BBQ and Canteen duties and to be the main form of communication between the coach, club and players. It is not an onerous role, but vital to the running of the club.
Parents with a netball, or sporting, background are also welcome to volunteer as team coach. The club will support coaches by paying for the Netball Victoria Insurance and sponsoring their enrolment in a Foundation Coaching Course. Parents taking on the role of Team Manager, Coach or Committee Member are required to have a Working With Children Check.
All players from 11&under to Open Division players playing in the SDNA at Thomas St require a uniform.
Cost of the uniform is $105 (skort or top only is $60).
St Finbar's Netball Club Hoodie is also available but not compulsory, the cost is $50.
Please refer to the uniform tab for more information on the uniform
